  1. Thank you for the beautiful tribute to Joe. I met Joe while he was working on his novel, The Blind Detective. He had health issues and could not finish his novel. I loved Joe from the first moment I met him. He was kind, caring, gentle and sweet. He will be missed by many.

  2. Thank you for this Heartfelt tribute. As a former bugler… you make me want to play “Taps” for Joe….

    RIP Joe.

  3. Just one word – Powerful! The most we can ever hope for is that we leave someone behind who will share such wonderful tribute. I’m a better person for watching this.

  4. What a wonderful tribute. Tears in my eyes. Joe was such an instrumental part of my early recovery like many others. He touch many lives in a positive way. He will be missed. Thank you, Pat.

  5. Beautiful, like Joe a beautiful gentleman. The last time I saw him was when we managed the Manor at Oakridge. He entertained our residents with his portrayal of Abe Lincoln. Joe will be wearing a stovepipe hat in my mind forever. ❤️🙏🏼

  6. So sad to learn this news. Thank you for the stories and the kind tribute. He was a great person. I remember the “lean in”…
